I competed in 'Irish Song For Europe' in 1994 and 1997 coming a close second on both occasions. I was invited to perform in Finland, Sweden, Greece, Los Angeles, Kiev, Kazakhstan and Cairo, winning several prizes and composing awards in various competitions.

Being cast as the Pianoman on the Billy Joel/Twyla Tharp musical Movin' Out in 2003. I did my first 6 months on Broadway then took the original US tour on the road across the US, Canada and Japan.
My big career break took me to America where I joined the cast of Riverdance in 2000, and became lead vocalist in January 2001.

I was proud to be invited to perform with Mark Rivera and the Billy Joel Band for a corporate event at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Casino resort in June 2007. The band also featured other special guests Nils Lofgren (E Street Band), Tommy Byrnes, Crystal Taliefero and Will Lee.

It was a very long but very rewarding day at Twickenham when we were invited to sing 'Ireland's Call before the Six Nations game between England and Ireland. We took away fantastic memories that will last a long long time.

Without a doubt one of the greatest nights ever!! Possibly the greatest night since The High Kings began. An absolutely massive sold out audience at Union Chapel London and a seriously unprecedented reaction. We are totally buzzing after that. So many lump in the throat moments from Red is the Rose sung on the pulpit,the sea of iPhone lights during Brian's Rare Aul Times, to the standing ovation after "The Town I loved so well'. Incredible. We are so grateful to Everyone who came out tonight and blessed us with a lifetime memory.

Incredible day! Stuff of dreams. An amazing few hours as guests of General Martin Dempsey, the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, at Arlington Cemetery and The Pentagon. We were honoured to lay a wreath at the tomb of The Unknown Soldier, followed by a guided tour of The Pentagon. We were further honoured to be invited to an intimate lunch with General Dempsey and his wife and to round off a perfect day we joined the US Marine Band at their HQ for a few songs with #ThePresidentsOwn !!
